November is Here. Let’s Get Moving.
November is coming up where we can (hopefully) welcome in some cooler weather at last. The Halloween decorations suddenly disappear, only to be replaced with socks, baubles, and trees. You know what doesn’t change season by season?* Swing Dance! And this month, we’re bringing you all the classes and socials that you love, and an extra special surprise at the end.
November Highlights
Stop doom-scrolling and start lindy-rolling. Or charleston-strolling. Or whatever verb you want to invent. Our November courses are designed to get you off your phone and onto the dance floor. We’ve got something for everyone, from “I’ve never danced before” to “I was born with jazz shoes on.”

Private Classes: Break Through That Learning Wall
Want to level up your skills without any witnesses? Book a private class. It’s like having a dance sensei, but with less cryptic advice and more high-fives. We have a range of teachers to match your vibe and your wallet. Send us a message to ask about prices.
Guest Teachers: Lisa and Fabien are in the house all the way from France! They’ll be available for private lessons between November 20th and 30th. This is your chance to learn from the best of the best, so don’t sleep on it.
Senior Teachers: With over 10 years of experience, our senior teachers are like the Yoda of swing dancing, sentence structure confusing without. They’ll help you find your dance philosophy, prepare for competitions, or even choreograph a routine that will capture the hearts of everyone in the room.
Junior Teachers: Need a little extra practice buddy? Our junior teachers are here to help you review class material, conquer that tricky move, and provide all the encouragement you need. They’re like your personal dance cheerleaders, but without the pom-poms.
November Events: Get Off Your Couch
Santa Monica Social
We’re taking over the Santa Monica Cantina again on November 8th. Come for the dancing, stay for the tacos. Or come for the tacos and stay for the dancing. We don’t care, as long as you’re there.
Free Swing Dance Social at AIA Vitality Hub
It’s free. It’s a swing dance social. It’s at the AIA Vitality Hub on November 14th. You literally have no excuse not to come. Unless you have a pet rock that needs walking. In that case, we understand.
Saturday Night Swing & Bal & Blues
Clear your schedule for November 29th, because we’re throwing a party at DANCETRINITY. We’ve got Swing, we’ve got Balboa, we’ve got Blues. It’s a triple threat of awesome that you won’t want to miss.
Lisa and Fabien Weekend
From November 28th to 30th, we’re hosting a weekend with the one and only Lisa and Fabien. There will be workshops, there will be dancing, and there will be so much talent in one room that it’s frankly a fire hazard. Don’t miss out.
Video of the Month
Remember when you couldn’t leave your apartment? A few years ago, a bunch of New York jazz musicians started live-streaming jam sessions from their living room. They called it Emmet’s Place, and it was legendary. Sadly, the series has come to an end. Thankfully there is a huge backlog to listen to, and check out the final show. It’s worth it.
Still here? Wow, you must be really bored at work. Don’t worry, we all procrastinate (why do you think this email got to you so late?) Since you’ve made it this far, why not seal the deal and click one of these buttons? Go on. You know you want to.
