Dust off your dancing shoes and dig through your closet — We’re combining killer swing moves with a clothing exchange that’ll refresh your wardrobe while you dance away your Sunday afternoon.

While you’re busy swinging, we’ll handle your fashion collection. Bring some of your clothes that feel like need a new home, or browse to find something new. No clothes to swap? No worries! Your cash and enthusiasm are just as welcome as your cast-offs. Come for the dancing, stay for the style upgrade—or vice versa. Sign-up below.

How the Swap Works

1. Bring up to 10 clean, gently used clothing items (preferably that you can wear while dancing), Accessories also welcome
2. Take up to 8 items maximum (whether free, swapped, or purchased)
3. Any unclaimed items at the end will be donated to charity (Salvation Army), you can claim your own unsold items as well
4. Participants without clothes to contribute are still welcome to purchase or take free items

Labelling Your Items (Using Post-it Notes)

Each item you bring must have a post-it note attached with:

1. Price Category (Choose one):
   • “FREE” – Available at no cost
   • “SWAP” – Available for trading with another item
   • “$X” – Set your own reasonable price (suggested max $15)
   • “PAY WHAT YOU FEEL” – Recipient determines fair value
2. Size (S, M, L, XL, etc.)
3. Brief Description (e.g., “Blue Dress”, “Men’s Jeans”)
4. Your Name (First name)
5. Optional: Item Condition (“Like New”, “Gently Worn”)

Staff Assistance & Payment Tracking

Our event staff will:

• Help manage your clothing items so you can focus on dancing
• Use post-it notes to track all transactions and payments
• Collect payments on your behalf throughout the event
• Settle all accounts at the end of the event – you’ll receive your earnings before you leave
• Keep a running tally of items bought/sold for each participant

Additional Information

• A designated area will be available to display all items
• Money from sales goes directly to the original owner
• Post-its will be available, but labelling in advanced is encouraged
• All swapping/selling happens alongside our swing dancing!
• Please settle item payments with CASH
