Ready to hit the best dance floor Hong Kong has to offer? It’s time for our monthly DJ social—no anniversaries, no workshops, just your favorite formula: great music, amazing people, and plenty of opportunities to show off those smooth moves (or enthusiastic attempts—no judgement here).
This month, we’re doing a Swing and Blues party so expect a combination of both dances on the dance floor. This is a night where swing and blues dancers come together, share laughs, and enjoy the vibes. If you’re new, nervous, or “not sure if you have rhythm,” don’t worry. Everyone’s here for a good time, and the friendliest dancers in town are always eager to bring another friend into the fold.
And if you’re just starting out or want to get a quick feel for the swing, join our Beginner Taster Class at 8:30 PM. The taster class will incorporate a combination of both styles of dance so you’re never lost on the floor—it’s the perfect warm-up to get your feet ready for a night of fun.
Bring your dance shoes, bring your friends, and most importantly—bring your best energy. No lessons, no pressure, just pure dancing and a whole lot of fun. So break out your favorite dance outfit, leave the sweatpants at home, and come make some memories.

Beginner Taster Class – 8:30pm
Never touched a dance floor? Perfect. This class is for people who think rhythm is a foreign concept and coordination is overrated. Our instructors specialize in transforming complete beginners into humans who can move to music without causing a scene.
No judgment, no pressure – just you, some music, and the discovery that dancing is way less terrifying than you imagined. Bring comfortable shoes and leave your self-consciousness at the door.
DJ Talk with Thomas – 8:30pm
Calling all aspiring of beginner swing DJs: Thomas is sharing the secrets that separate the pros from the playlist shufflers.
Learn how to read a room, build energy, and keep people dancing instead of heading for the exits. Technique, Tech, Music Choice, and everything in between. Bring your questions and get ready to level up your DJ game.

WHAT TO WEAR
Many regulars enjoy channeling vintage vibes, but the only real dress code is “clothes you can dance in.” (Though we highly recommend bringing a change of shoes and perhaps a small towel—swing dancing is officially the most fun cardio workout in existence.)
BYOB
Thirsty work, all this dancing! We’re running this party BYOB-style, so feel free to bring whatever keeps you hydrated and happy. Water will be flowing, but bring your own cup—because saving the planet looks good on everyone.
Forgot your refreshments? No sweat! (Well, actually, there might be sweat—it’s dancing.) There’s a 7-11 literally steps away from our door, stocked with everything from coconut water to liquid courage.
Pro tip from seasoned swingers: Something with a screw-top beats anything with a cork when you’re rushing back for that favorite song. And remember—stay hydrated between dances for maximum swing sustainability!

Price and Payment
Please make your payment in advance via FPS or credit card (note: a small fee applies for credit card payments). You will receive payment instructions via email upon registration.
Super/Early Bird pricing must be settled within one week of registration. If not, your ticket will be charged at the regular price.
Walk-in’s are allowed for this event

Venue Rules
- Drinking is allowed within the venue. Though any un-bottled drinks should be kept on a specified table within the venue to help prevent spills.
- Please don’t touch or move any equipment (piano, dehumidifiers, windows, mirrors)
Refund and Transfers
- Tickets are non-refundable barring exceptional circumstances, Rhythm Studio has final say as to whether you may be refunded.
- Tickets may be transferred, Please provide the name and email of the transferee to update your ticket details. If Rhythm Studio facilitates the transfer, the regular ticket price is charged regardless of the original price.
